National Garden Scheme Open Day
The annual open day for the National Garden Scheme at the end of May 2008 was - inspite of the extremely wet weather - a success. It poured with rain but people still turned up, wandered around the garden, ate cake and drank tea.
One gentleman sought me out to say it was the loveliest garden he had ever seen (I would not go quite that far myself).
The garden will be open the afternoon of Thursday, 28 May 2009 under the National Garden Scheme. More paths have been laid since last year and the Crows’ Nest now gives a whole new perspective on the garden and surrounding area.
