Guests are welcome to bring picnic suppers with them to eat in the garden or at the dining room table. Crockery and cutlery will be provided but no cooking facilities. Guests are asked not to picnic in the bedrooms, please.

There are many restaurants and pubs serving meals in the area.
The Ship in Cuckfield does the best ham, egg and chips in Sussex, the Witch in Lindfield is well worth a visit, the oak beams in the bar of the Bent Arms (Lindfield) resemble a spider’s web.
Indeed, every village has somewhere good to eat but it can be wise to book a table at busy times. Directions from Copyhold Hollow are available.
